No More Money Orders For DOC
You can now send money to a Maryland inmate through Access Corrections. There are only a few steps involved and it is really easy.
You can send to the Maryland county detention centers but also the Maryland Department of Corrections.
You will need the inmate SID# or you can try to look up by name.
- Set up an account at: www.accesscorrections.com
- Verify your email address
- Log in and go to your dashboard and send money
- Look up the inmate by SID#
- Enter in the amount. (Max $300)
- You’ll get a confirmation message like this:
“Your card was successfully charged. Please check your email for the receipt. All transactions are final and could take up to 24 hours to post.”
Sending money now is so important during these time and it is good that this option is now available.
