PBS Special on Juvenile Lifers
John Yang from PBS reported on the problem of Juvenile offenders. Offenders that have been sentenced to life and have been denied parole. The report talked about two main individuals. One who was just paroled by current Governor Larry Hogan and another person who is still behind bars.
Mr Yang, details the history dating back to the Glendening years where tough sentences and parole polices were started. As a result of this video, the former Governor admits that was in error. Above all, this is a great story and it gives light to a serious problem we have had in our prison system here in Maryland.
